Phantom Blade Zero moves from September to October 29

S-Game delayed Phantom Blade Zero from September 9 to October 29, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC, saying the team wanted more time to polish combat and technical quality.

Phantom Blade Zero will not land in early September after all. Developer S-Game moved the action title from September 9 to October 29, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC, with leadership apologizing to fans and framing the delay as a polish decision rather than a soft cancellation.

Why the new date is tense

October 29 sits only weeks before GTA VI. That is a brutal neighborhood for any new IP, timed exclusive or not. S-Game still plans a summer State of Play showing and summer pre-orders, which keeps marketing alive during the wait.

Platform reminder

The game remains a PS5 and PC launch, with a reported 12-month timed exclusive arrangement on PlayStation. Xbox players should not assume a day-one version.
