GTA 6 pre-orders open with November 19 launch locked

Rockstar and Take-Two opened Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders on June 25 for a November 19, 2026 launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at $79.99.

Grand Theft Auto VI moved from rumor season into a retail calendar. Rockstar Games, a Take-Two Interactive label, said pre-orders began on June 25, 2026 at midnight local time, with a locked launch date of November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for $79.99.

What buyers get early

Purchases before November 20, 2026 include the Vintage Vice City Pack. Digital pre-orders also add a free month of GTA+, redeemable in the existing Rockstar catalog. Digital buyers can begin pre-loading on November 12 so the install finishes before launch night.

Why the date matters

After earlier delays, Take-Two has repeatedly framed November 19 as the firm target. For players, that means a clear holiday window. For rival publishers, it means every fall release now has to decide whether to collide with Rockstar or step aside.
