Capcom Q1 jumps as Pragmata tops 2.5 million
Capcom's results for the three months ended June 30, 2026 showed higher sales and profit, with Digital Contents volume at 23.81 million units and new IP Pragmata above 2.5 million worldwide.
Capcom's consolidated results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 showed a sharp year-on-year lift. Net sales rose to ¥70.4 billion from ¥45.5 billion a year earlier, while ordinary profit climbed to ¥41.5 billion from ¥22.9 billion.
What drove Digital Contents
Core digital volume reached 23.81 million units, up from 14.16 million in the prior-year quarter. New IP PRAGMATA surpassed 2.5 million units worldwide after a strong launch push. Resident Evil catalog and series momentum, plus Devil May Cry 5 lift from animated-series synergy, also helped.
Forecast unchanged
Capcom kept its full-year forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027. In a year when many publishers are cutting, Capcom's Q1 reads like a reminder that shipping games people want still works.
